My brother brought me his dog from Canada (I live in Greece now). He got his shots last year...?
but I'm not sure what he needs this year. How often do dogs need shots for rabies and distemper, etc...

check with your local vet, they'll have more answers for you, and will also be able to let you know if there are any other shots that your dog may need
2 :
The rabies are yearly shots (at least here in the states), and the vet should tell you how often the rest are needed, as they all vary. Good luck and have fun with your "new" baby
3 :
Every 3 years you sould get the dog a shot for rabies and other things.
4 :
Yearly for for most things. Rabies can be 1-year or 3-year depending on the vaccine used. Check with a local vet, also if there are heartworm carrying mosquitoes in that area, he should be on a monthly heartworm prevention.
5 :
Check with your vet take any paperwork on past shots with you, rabies vaccines depending on type givien could be a yearly one or good for 3 years, require vaccines in Greece can be different than what is required here in Canada, even in Canada vaccine recommendations vary as some areas may be hot spots for commons diseases but is rare in a different area, heartworm is common in Ontario and Quebec but very rare in western Canada expect for in little pocket areas. Leishmaniasis is unheard of in dogs in North America but can be a problem in parts of europe I am not sure if their is a preventative but a vet their would know. if so and if needed for that area
