How expensive is it to travel or live in Greece?
Compared to America. Are there ample job opportunities?

it's quite expensive actually. and to live in greece is even more expensive; the products have prices of the european union, but the salaries stay the same.

It is expensive and job opportunities are not good. There are many people with a university degree unemployed currently, and for most tedious jobs they are looking for cheap foreign workers. For most good jobs it is more about the relations and the people you know than your capabilities. Greece is a very good place to live if you have money imo, if you don't well...

For an American extremely expensive... but for a northern european such as some one from England its pretty cheap you gotta remember they on the Euro( when I was in italy the exchange rate was 1.69). As for job opportunities Europe is in an unemployment crisis, but if you have some amazing credentials you can get a job, also your salary maybe in Euros but you will make the same amount. That's why even for Greeks it is expensive. And remember whenever you move to a foreign country make arrangements way far ahead of time ie. Job, house, location, and of course all of you papers and all that stuff. (this should be second knowledge). But the most important thing is that if you are going to live there or travel there have a good time. oh yeah and BTW: Gas is double so don't think about getting a car lol.

it's quite expensive but one can make ends meet if he has the will and the determination...Greece is a nice place to live in and if prices get lower then it is the ideal place to raise a family! it combines both the traditional and the modern way of living!

It is expensive to live. House or I should say condos are high, utilities are high, and gas is high. Food is great and not that expensive. Depends on where you go. The job market is not so good. You have to look, but I think they prefer to hire people in their own country before seeking elsewhere. Hope this helps!
