But they will not provide the actual help it self, rather they will tell you how to go about it. (Advice : DO NOT contact the USA Embassy in Athens. They cant tell left from right). Call the USA Consulate office in Thessaloniki. They DO know more, if not all... http://thessaloniki.usconsulate.gov/service.html Lots of info here too : (Foreigner's Guide) http://www.migrantsingreece.org/transpartner/GuideEnglish.doc In the end, you will have to go through the procedures at the Aliens' Beaureau at the corresponding Periphery and provide all the red tape that is needed.
