Mostly in apartments but also in houses with small gardens, mesonettes etc. Mostly in flats, as I said. Houses are not very big, like in the rest of Europe (it's not like in the US).

As it was mentioned, apartments. The most usual type of homes are apartments in blocks of flats which are almost always no more than 5 floors. There are also other types of homes but you will most likely find them in the countryside.

In Athens and other big cities they mostly live in apartment houses which consist of 4-6 floors on average. In the countryside villages and islands they live in smaller older one family homes. All homes are mostly made of marble and cement and have balconies and many have outdoor terraces because of the mild climate.
