Things about greece I would like to know

Things about greece I would like to know?
Do greek people still believe in the different gods, and what religion would it be? Where is the best place to live in greece? (I know greece is very beautiful.) Where are schools located in the U.S that teach the greek alphabet, and grammar. Whats the culture like?

Greeks are Christians (most of them). The best place to live in Greece is wherever you can find a good job, so Athens is the most probable place. The culture and way of life is like the rest of Europe. For Greek schools in the US ask in a Greek Orthodox Church near you, they should know.

I agree with cpinatsi, except one thing. A good place to live, depends on what you're looking for. But i can understand these days why a 'job opportunity' could also mean 'a good place to live'. Would you like to live in a big city like Athens, Kalamata or Patra in Peloponnese,or Thessaloniki? With all the advantages and disadvantages of a big city? Would you like to live in a smaller place like Nafplio in Peloponnese, Parga in Preveza,Larisa in Thessalia (which by the way has many university students and that means 'life' for a city), Chalkida in Evia. Or would you like to live somewhere in an island with 'busy' summers and 'quite' winters? Like in ...well...almost every island! Or something in between? Like Chania in Crete, or Rhodes island or Corfu? A good idea is to start as an english teacher in private language schools, it will be much easier to find a job anywhere in Greece. please read this, it's usefull (it has info for teacher'license) http://www.onlinetefl.com/tefl-jobs/country-guides/greece.html http://www.eslbase.com/advice/greece.asp http://www.jobmonkey.com/teaching/greece/ Greek National Tourism Organisation http://www.gnto.gr/ about the Greek way of life i'm giving you a link of a previous Y!A question 'cause it's too much to write down http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ArxiD0DZ3hpgsFLivZ1JVWXty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20090217133415AA3M74E&show=7#profile-info-gCeAPaVlaa cpinatsi is right, you could ask a priest for a greek school in the USA.
